A native of Marion, Ohio, I entered the real estate business in 1995 in Winter Haven, FL, because I fell in love with the area--its lakes after lakes, its old homes and new homes and its beauty. I also wanted to help others find a niche in Polk County.

After getting my real estate license, I went on to earn the prestigious Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation 10 months later, and closed my first year with $1 million in residential sales. In 1999, I completed the rigorous requirements to earn the Certified Residential Specialists (CRS) designation, which is held by only 5% of all licensed real estate agents.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in business and have had many years of management experience prior to becoming a REALTOR. Both have helped me develop a skill for details, professionalism, and the patience needed to help things work smoothly.

I belong to the National Association of REALTORS, the East Polk Association of REALTORS and the Residential Sales Council. In 2002 and 2003, I was honored to receive Polk County's People's Choice Award for REALTOR.
